Pyramidal pinhole glasses are characterized by their pyramidal holes. They are of high quality and made in Germany. These glasses are indicated for symptoms of low prescription or few diopters (up to 1.5).
They are NOT suitable for driving vehicles or risk sports.
They are suitable for mild vision symptoms for which prescription glasses are commonly prescribed: nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and presbyopia (eyestrain).
Pyramidal holes are pyramid-shaped and are smaller closer to the eye and more open farther away. Like conical holes, these types of holes reduce the phenomenon of diffraction halos present in round or cylindrical holes. This phenomenon is especially annoying when looking at screens and monitors such as those of computers, televisions, tablets and phones.
